The Beginning

Manifesto

Apathy is the most frustrating human emotion…

and the one that quietly settles into the days of most human beings. Death by a thousand dull and mildly depressing cuts.

The yearning for Friday when it's only Monday is fine, technically.

The lone commute to school or the day job is fine, technically. The slightly forced smiles to the people you work with are mostly fine, technically.

Underneath the gray, though, the parts of you that don't fit the schedule are still there. The convention you've been counting down to. The quilt you keep meaning to start. The karaoke night you've been wanting to plan. The matcha and the OC you've been thinking about drawing for weeks now. Small things that keep slipping through the cracks of a day painted in that bland, particular shade of gray — small ways of remembering yourself, even when nothing is asking you to.

The girls of Teak Time are doing the same thing each day.

Remembering who they are. Reclaiming the beauty of life — even when that beauty has to fit around a 7AM coffee run on the way to work, or the shuffle from class to class at Squa University.

Our collectibles are a reminder of that pursuit.

Of making the most of the system around you and the cards you've been dealt. A physical, always-around reminder of the parts of you that make you… you.
